Based out of Pasadena, California, 92ARTIST Productions is a production company dedicated to creating artist-driven projects. It was founded in 2014 by Ceirra Burton, an artist herself, who wanted to create projects that she was truly passionate about and work with other fellow artists with the same passion and drive.

92ARTIST Productions is an award-winning production company that specializes in short and feature films, web series, internet content, photography, digital publication, and more.

92ARTIST Productions caters to black, queer, and female audiences with projects and content that speak to their personal experiences and artistic interests. Also providing a peak behind the curtain of running a production company along with providing industry insights, resources, and like-minded community support to help provide a platform for those voices and share them with the world.

meet the Founder

Ceirra Burton grew up in a single parent household in Pasadena, CA, where she took comfort in the sights, sounds, and stories of old Hollywood, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and female action heroes. When she wasn’t playing sports, Ceirra turned to creative writing to create stories about a young black queer girl trying to find her way in the world. After graduating from AMDA College of the Performing Arts with a bachelor’s degree in acting, Ceirra set out to create comedic and dramatic stories about the black, queer, and female experience. She dove headfirst into exploring the way people interacted with themselves and the world around them through witty and absurd or dark and psychological situations. Pushing her to start her own production company, 92ARTIST Productions, where she continued making short films and web series showcasing complex characters subverting stereotypes.
